A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS

0413_strangers.jpgIf Joy Division still existed I’m pretty sure that today they would sound like A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS.

The shoegaze experimental rock trio is famous for being “the New York City's "loudest band".

Largely influenced by psychedelic and heavy rock, APTBS is - I think - one of the most mind-blowing stage performers I have ever seen. APTBS set is just trippy as hell and the songs completely out of space.

After a debut album in 2007, APTBS launched its new LP “Exploding Head” few months ago.

The new single “KEEP SLIPPING AWAY” will be released on December 7th.

This one is actually one of my favourite SOUTH CENTRAL remixes, one of the most well crafted the hooded gang had ever released!!

BABY MONSTER

13858_328736120227_641365227_9621691_6541365_n.jpgLet me introduce you to my new musical crush: BABY MONSTER.

Baby Monster is one of the most interesting band’s to emerge from America in recent times and have already been praised online, as well as remixing the debut single ‘Pieces Of You’ from the hotly-tipped Wolf Gang to stunning effect. Along with lead single, ‘Medicine Man’ from Zero 7’s latest album.

Danny Sternbaum has established himself as one of the most exciting new producers out there. Marty Larson has played in various Oregon bands over the years, building a reputation as a great creative musician.

On the flipside is the brilliant re-working by the up-and coming Arveene & Misk. Already endorsed by Erol Alkan, this Irish duo are set for big things in the next few months having already remixed Mr Oizo. Their version of ‘Ultra Violence And Beethoven’ is great even if I rather like the remix by Mondkopf .

But I'm pretty sure that other remix are coming soon.
