ARCTIC MONKEYS #1

4498_82324100966_9520450966_2047616_2501629_n.jpgWell I guess that I don’t really need to introduce you the Sheffield indie rock band Arctic Monkeys!

After two brilliant albums “Whatever people say I Am, that’s I’m Not’ (2006), “Favourite Worst Nightmare” (2007), and Alex Turner’s alternative musical project The Last Shadow Puppet with his pal Miles Kane (Rascals), the Arctic Monkeys are back with a new album “Humbug”.

The 1st single “Crying Lightning” is a little bit darker and less urgent than what the band used to do. Some journalist might say that it is due to maturity or stuff like that. Anyway, the new single is quite nice but nothing original and almost boring compared to the dance floor filler's previous hit.

I hope the other tracks from “Humbug” will be more original and creative than “Crying Lightning” because I have been expected this new album for a long time now, and the 1st single isn’t really as amazing as expected.

Anyway, even if I am a little bit disappointed by this new track, I’m still a great fan of the Arctic Monkeys' music and I’m looking forward to go and see them on stage, as they will perform few days after my birthday in Paris! (Please feel free to send me birthday transfer payments here!)

I thought that everything coming out from the Artics wud be worthy, but unfortunately I agree with you: it's a deadly boring song!
