CHINESE MAN

Created in 2004, Chinese Man is a Marseille-based turntablist electro hip hop band, composed by Dj Zé Mateo and High Ku with the beatmakers SLY and Leo Le Bug.

Influenced by funk, jazz, dub and Hip Hop, Chinese Man became famous with their track “I’ve got that tune” used by Mercedes commercial in 2006.

In 2007, Chinese Man released their debut album “The Groove Session” and increased their popularity by performing in many festivals such as Le Printemps de Bourges and Solidays.

Real showmen with incredible live performances, Chinese Man has already performed with many major artists such as Dj Shadow, Asian Dub Foundation, and DJ QBert (3 times DMC World Champion!).

Chinese Man has recently launched their second album “Groove Sessions Vol. 2” which is as excellent as the 1st one.
But I recommend you to go and see them on stage first. They are brilliant!
